At Grand Canyon Safety Training Center, we believe that lifesaving skills aren’t just for adults—they’re for everyone. That’s why we offer a wide variety of American Heart Association and American Red Cross classes for teens and pre-teens at a significant price reduction. Our mission is to make sure young people have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond in emergencies, protect themselves, and help others.
Classes We Offer for Teens & Pre-Teens:
- Babysitter Training – Learn child care essentials, safety, emergency response, and business skills.
- Safe Sitter® Courses – Build safe, responsible babysitting skills, including first aid and CPR basics.
- CPR & AED Training – Learn hands-on CPR for infants, children, and adults.
- First Aid Basics – How to respond to common injuries, bleeding, and sudden illness.
- Stop the Bleed – Critical bleeding control skills for severe emergencies.
- First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST) – Teen-focused response to life-threatening injuries.
- Friends & Family CPR – Non-certification course for learning CPR skills as a family.

Community Classes We Offer:
- Stop the Bleed – Learn how to control severe bleeding and save a life in minutes.
- Safe Sitter® Babysitting Classes – SafeSitter Inc.–endorsed training for young caregivers, covering childcare basics, safety skills, and emergency response.
- Hands-Only CPR – A quick, accessible way for anyone to learn chest compression–only CPR.
- New Parent CPR Classes – Essential infant CPR, choking response, and safety skills for new or expecting parents.
- Community CPR Classes – Including AHA Family & Friends, Adult & Child CPR, and Adult & Child First Aid/CPR courses through both the AHA and the ARC.
